In a remarkable display of service to humanity, Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MAAN) organized a two-day free medical outreach on August 20th and 21st, 2025, at the palace of the Iralepo of Isinkan Kingdom. The initiative, held as part of the pre-activities of MAAN’s 49th Annual Ijtema (Convention), provided much-needed healthcare to hundreds of beneficiaries.Speaking on the significance of the program, the Sadr (National President), Alhaji Dauda Raji, emphasized that the outreach reflected the organization’s commitment to saving lives and alleviating human suffering. He described the initiative as a “great blessing” for his people, commending the selflessness and compassion that inspired it.Over the course of the two days, medical services provided included health talks, consultations, blood pressure checks, random blood sugar and malaria tests, hepatitis B and C screening, distribution of free medications, and complimentary eyeglasses.By the close of the outreach, more than 500 people had benefitted. MAAN Visits Ondo Children’s Home: Sadr Encourages Children to Live with Hope and Virtue
As part of pre-Ijtema activities, the Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria has paid a compassionate visit to the Ondo State Children’s Home, Akure, under the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, on 21st August 2025.During the visit, the Sadr Majlis Ansarullah, Alh. Dauda Raji, encouraged the children to remain hopeful of God’s grace and to always remember that they are beloved to Him. He urged them to cultivate gratitude regardless of their condition, while advising them to be obedient, use their time wisely, and show love and care to their peers in order to be recipients of God’s love and mercy.The Sadr further admonished the children to study diligently, avoid bad company, and steer clear of vices, noting that these values are essential to living successful lives. MAAN Pays Compassionate Visit to Akure Correctional Centre
In a bid to extend their welfare outreach ahead of the 49th Annual Ijtema, the Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria, Alh. Dauda Raji, led a delegation on a welfare visit to the Nigeria Correctional Service, Olokuta, Akure, Ondo State.Addressing the inmates, Sadr acknowledged that people find themselves in correctional facilities for different reasons. He encouraged those who had erred to remain hopeful and view their situation as a trial, while advising those who committed serious crimes to embrace genuine reformation.He further urged the inmates to seek forgiveness from Allah and strive for His mercy, noting that sincere repentance opens doors to divine grace. He also encouraged them to take advantage of skill acquisition programs offered within the correctional facility, stressing the importance of staying productive and relevant to society.Sadr assured that the welfare visits would be continuous and pledged that necessary support would be provided to uplift the condition of the inmates. The Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Command, CP Adebowale Lawal, has praised the service of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community while receiving the Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria (Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association), Alh. Dauda Raji, and his entourage on 21st August 2025 during a courtesy visit ahead of the 49th Annual Ijtema. “We can’t thank you enough for your prayers and support, and we will continue to ask for more,” CP Lawal remarked.
