As part of its ongoing commitment to welfarism, Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MAAN) extended its outreach efforts with a visit to the Abuja Children’s Home in Karu on Wednesday, 21st August 2024. This visit was one of the pre-conference activities leading up to the annual convention at the M.K.O Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
During the visit, Sadr MAAN, Mr. Dauda Raji, emphasized the importance of kindness and compassion, central teachings of Islam, particularly towards the less privileged. Addressing the children at the orphanage, he shared inspiring lessons from the Holy Prophet on helping those in need and encouraged the children to see their caregivers as loving parental figures.
Sadr Raji expressed deep admiration for the orphanage staff, praising their invaluable work and reassuring them that their efforts are recognized and will be divinely rewarded. He urged the children to reciprocate the love and care extended to them, fostering an atmosphere of harmony within their home.
He also encouraged the children to aim high and achieve great heights, reminding them that the orphanage is a product of the kindness of others. As they grow and succeed, they should also give back and support those in need, continuing the cycle of kindness.
The delegation from MAAN met with the management of the orphanage, represented by Mr. Felix Inaede, the Accountant. Mr. Inaede commended the National President of MAAN for his heartfelt advice and the generous donation of food items, describing the gesture as a unique and impactful contribution to humanity.
