The Corps Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ondo Sector Command, Dr. Samuel Ibitoye, has praised the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for its unwavering commitment to humanity’s welfare, particularly its initiatives that align with the Corps’ mission of ensuring safety and wellbeing.
Dr. Ibitoye made this known during a courtesy visit to his office by Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria, noting with concern the rising rate of fatalities on roads and emphasized that safety is a shared responsibility. He commended the Ahmadiyya Community for its consistent contributions towards caring and safeguarding lives and pledged the Corps’ support for the activities of the organization, which was followed with an award to the organization.
In his remarks, the Sadr (National President) Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria, Alh. Dauda Raji who led the delegation, outlined the various programs of the organization aimed at promoting welfare, education, peace, and societal progress. He stressed that safety remains a core value of the Jama’at, reflected in its continued efforts to establish harmony and security within communities.
The Sadr further highlighted the Jama’at’s emphasis on moral values, discipline, and adherence to rules and responsibilities as foundations for national growth and stability. He concluded by extending a formal invitation to the Corps Commander to attend the forthcoming 49th Annual Majlis Ansarullah Ijtema and presentation of Jama’at literature to the Commander and his team.
