In a remarkable display of service to humanity, Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MAAN) organized a two-day free medical outreach on August 20th and 21st, 2025, at the palace of the Iralepo of Isinkan Kingdom. The initiative, held as part of the pre-activities of MAAN’s 49th Annual Ijtema (Convention), provided much-needed healthcare to hundreds of beneficiaries.
Speaking on the significance of the program, the Sadr (National President), Alhaji Dauda Raji, emphasized that the outreach reflected the organization’s commitment to saving lives and alleviating human suffering. He highlighted the broader humanitarian efforts of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, including its global charity arm Humanity First, which provides clean water through boreholes, supports health facilities and surgeries, delivers disaster relief, and offers power supply solutions to underserved communities.
Welcoming the beneficiaries, Alhaji Raji encouraged patience and orderliness, assuring them of the organization’s dedication to ensuring quality care for all.
The host royal father, His Royal Majesty Oba Olugbenga Ojo, Ajimokunola Arulewolasi III, the Iralepo of Isinkan Land, expressed profound gratitude to MAAN for choosing his palace and community for the program. He described the initiative as a “great blessing” for his people, commending the selflessness and compassion that inspired it.
Over the course of the two days, medical services provided included health talks, consultations, blood pressure checks, random blood sugar and malaria tests, hepatitis B and C screening, distribution of free medications, and complimentary eyeglasses.
By the close of the outreach, more than 500 people had benefitted. Among them, 167 attended the eye clinic, with 97 receiving free eyeglasses, while all beneficiaries underwent relevant tests and were provided with prescribed medications at no cost.
The initiative once again underscored MAAN’s mission of service, demonstrating how faith-driven compassion can touch lives and strengthen communities.
