On Tuesday, 20th August 2024, the National President (Sadr) of Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MAAN), Alh. Dauda Raji, was a special guest on the Armed Forces of Nigeria Radio Service, 107.7 FM, in Abuja. During the live broadcast, Alh. Raji provided an in-depth overview of the upcoming 48th Annual Majlis Ansarullah Ijtema and discussed the broader activities of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and the elders’ forum.
Alh. Raji took the opportunity to outline the conference’s key programs, emphasizing its theme, “Making Living Worthwhile For All: Islamic Solutions to Economic and Security Challenges.” He highlighted the event’s significance as a platform for addressing pressing societal issues through Islamic teachings and practical solutions.
The Sadr also spoke about the various initiatives undertaken by the Ahmadiyya community, particularly the elders’ forum, to contribute to the welfare of society. These efforts include the establishment of educational and healthcare facilities, disaster relief operations, and ongoing humanitarian services that align with the community’s commitment to promoting peace and progress.
Listeners were encouraged to participate in the upcoming Ijtema, scheduled for Friday, 23rd to Sunday, 25th August 2024, at the M.K.O. Abiola National Stadium, Package B, Abuja. Alh. Raji emphasized the importance of unity, spiritual growth, and collective effort in tackling the nation’s challenges.
The radio program provided a valuable platform for reaching a broad audience, further raising awareness of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s contributions and the anticipated impact of the Ijtema.
