The Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Mukhtar Abayomi Arigbabu, has commended the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at for its consistent commitment to promoting goodness, while pledging his support for the activities of the community.
The Commissioner made this known on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, when he received the Sadr (National President) Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria, Alhaji Dauda Abiola Raji, and his entourage at the Ministry of Education, State Secretariat, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
Prof. Arigbabu congratulated the organization on the 50th anniversary of its Annual Ijtema, noting that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community had continued to wax stronger over the years and remained a reference point for goodness.
He pledged his support for the community’s efforts and wished the organization a successful Golden Jubilee Ijtema, while also expressing his readiness to attend the programme.
In his remarks, Alhaji Raji highlighted the auxiliary bodies of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and noted that the 50th Annual Ijtema of Majlis Ansarullah Nigeria was being held in Abeokuta to mark the organization’s Golden Jubilee.
He also briefed the Commissioner on some of the activities lined up for the convention, including a free medical outreach, and acknowledged his support towards the recent approval for the establishment of an Ahmadiyya primary school in Ogun State.
